Biography

Carmelo Carone is an international DJ and producer active since the early 1990s, with over 30 years of experience across some of the world’s most iconic dancefloors. Throughout his career, he has developed numerous exclusive projects, official mixes, remixes and reworks for legendary artists such as Giorgio Moroder (becoming his official remixer), Donna Summer, Gloria Gaynor, Irena Cara, Screamin’ Rachael, Frankie Knuckles, Chuck Roberts, Ron Hardy, Larry Heard (aka Mr. Fingers), Todd Terry, Robert Owens, Tears for Fears and many more.

He has compiled two official Lufthansa DJ mixes – Phenomenon Album (2018) and Orion Album (2024), released by the legendary Drizzly Music. He also compiled and mastered the official soundtrack for the Vamp Bikers trilogy films, distributed by SONY America and featured on Netflix. His music has been supported worldwide by leading international radio stations, alongside his weekly Trax Mission Radio Show on Digitally Imported FM.

From 2015 to 2017, Carmelo served as Label Manager and A&R Manager for Trax Records Chicago, contributing to the relaunch of the label by overseeing productions, mastering and signing top-tier artists. He also served as Label Manager for FOEM Music Communication Agency, collaborating on international projects and working with some of the world’s most influential DJs and festivals, including Carl Cox (Revolution / Space Ibiza), Ultra Music Festival, Green Velvet, Carl Craig, David Guetta and others.

Carmelo Carone combines his historical legacy in the Italian and international house music scene with a contemporary global vision, delivering DJ sets, productions and projects that connect the origins of house music with modern electronic culture. His career stands as a testament to his dedication, creativity and lasting influence in electronic music worldwide.
